Missing Posts

I've revisited a couple of threads in which I posted responses earlier today and those posts are missing. There was nothing contentious about the posts so I don't think they have been moderated out unless we have a mod with an uncontrollable twitch.

Anybody else noticed this sort of thing either today or in the past?

Yup, me too...thought I was just going doolalley and hadn't really posted.

These things happen I suppose, let's face it, no software is infallable

Maybe it has something to do with the maintenance tomorrow or vice versa. And yes, It happened in the past when the posts appeared after a few hours as duplicates as most people would just click the back button of the browser and re-submit the post.
