Is there a plug-in meter?
I'd like to be able to find out how much we save by, for eg, turning the TV off rather than have it on standby, and I wondered if there was such a thing as a plug in gadget that you then plug the TV into (perhaps like an adaptor), has a screen that then tells you how much electricity you are using up by have the TV on - does that make sense? Is there such a thing?

Maplin price is £26 or there abouts.
Every month or so they have them on at half price. I got mine a couple of weeks ago for £12.99
Keep a beady eye on their web site, they should be half price in a week or two.0 -
Lidl have sold them for £4.99. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Maplin have them back in stock (1/2 price) - although they never seem to have any on the shelf at full price.

B&Q have them in for about £24, they had a free with something offer on it, but I'm afraid I can't remember what it was you had to buy :-\When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.0
