Best place for ISA & savings help required!

Hi

Just recently sold a property and cleared all my debts (yippee!). Also means I do not have an awful lot of cash left though :(

OH and I really want to do a self build home next year so need to save up as much cash as possible so have given up my flat and moved back to my folks. This frees up approx £1200 - £1400 a month which I want to save into as big a pot of cash as possible in 12 months. What is the best way to do this ? Regular saver ? Would I get access to the cash or need to wait a full 12 months ?

Also have a Natwest ISA with just over £10k (had it for 5 years due to maturein Oct 2015) but interest is shocking at 0.5% - was thinking of transferring to the National Counties one on MSE today. Any thought / suggestions would be greatly recieved....

Thanks everso
