Any Sky Experts around

Thanks for looking.
I have sky plus in the living room and was wondering if it was at all possible to use one of the coax cables and run it to my tv in the kitchen........... We dont record anything and wouldnt miss this...

We have a tv upstairs connected to the satelite dish which feeds the tv in the kitchen, but this only gets free sat as we cancelled the multi room........ It would be easier for me to get the other cable from the living room to the kitchen..........

I know you connect via the rf but the above would mean I could connect the tv upstairs that would get all the channels we get downstairs, if you can understand what I mean.

Thanks in advance.....
:confused:I have nothing better to do!!!!

  • I have a rough idea what you are on about..

My dad currently has a setup similar to what your after.

The satellite connection runs into the sky plus box, another connection comes out and runs into a signal splitter in the attic which has then been fed around his house.

So essentially when he's watching a channel (say sky one), I used to watch it (back when I lived there) in my bedroom.

Now you won't be able to watch 2 different channels at the same time.. but it is possible!
:exclamatiTo the internet.. I need to complain about something!
