Wasps in my bedroom

Hi all,
We've moved into our new home about 2 months ago and we keep finding dead wasps on the window seal into our second bedroom, or if they are not dead they are like dizzy? (not flying). I've found one on the floor as well and I am now getting quite worried as I don't want anybody to walk on one.
The loft hatch is in that bedroom and there is a very small wasp nest in the loft but it didn't seem to grow at all in those last 2 months. When the loft hatch is shut there is no visible gaps so have no idea where the dizzy wasps are coming from and why they end up dead on the window seal?
Please can anyone have a reasonable explanation?
Thanks

They will be coming from the loft, they only need a tiny gap to get out. We had the same thing, but ours ended up in the bathroom all the time. You could get someone in to get rid of the nest.0

I think when you find flys and wasps on the window cill like that it's because they've been trying to get out, they just see the light. I suppose they only need the tiniest of holes to get through from the loft, you could phone someone to come and kill them but i think you'd pay maybe £100, i've never had it done but hheard others talking about how expensive it can be. If the nest has been there for a couple of months and not caused you any problems, maybe you could just leave it, at least for the time being, they will all die off in the cold weather, i don't think they come back to an old nest.
If you're going to go into the loft yourself to try and get rid of it, do it of a night time when the wasps aren't as activeLiverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

you can remove wasp bikes during the winter but they apparently never re-use them so its of litle benefit, we were told you need to get them while they are active. your local council should have a pest dept who will deal with them for you at a fairly reasonable price0

they do come back to the old nest...well mine did....the loft is buzzing with them!...I'm waiting a few months then removing.....see what happens from there! You may walk and you may run
You leave your footprints all around the sun
And every time the storm and the soul wars come
You just keep on walking0 -
Looks like you can get one removed from £32, so we'll wait a little bit and if they don't stop invading our bedroom we'll get rid of them.
I just don't understand why they are dizzy??0 -
Think its just that time of year where they start dying off.
I removed a wasp bike that almost filled a bin bag when we first moved into our house which I'm guessing must have taken more thana year to build but thought that there was perhaps several all just joined together?0 -
If its white dont touch it. If its yellow just sling it in a bin bag. They do come back to old nests. Wait until November onwards and you will be safe.0

We recently had one in our roof space at work. A man in a van came round and sprayed some white powder into the space where the wasps were getting in and out. He said the wasps take it into the nest and feed it to the queen who then dies and the rest also die. It cost us £40.00 and he was here for about 15 minutes, but it does seem to have done the trick. No doubt new wasps will be back next year, as there are plenty of places for them to get in again.
A work colleague had a large wasp nest in her garden hedge and a phone call to the local authority pest control department got someone to come out and deal with it at no cost to her.0
