Butlins Bognor Regis

Hi
Me, Mr Melons and the 4 little Melons are off to Bognor Regis Butlins for a week in 2 weeks, we booked it on Sunday and there wasn't much option left so we ended up with Silver half board (upgraded to Premier Dining), it is 3 bedrooms and a bathroom in the apartment, no lounge.
I was just wondering if anyone stayed in an apartment with no lounge before, do you find you miss the sofas and a tv or is it ok?
I'm just worried as we have 4 boys.

Hi, we've stayed at Butlins in a silver half board last year. We stayed in a 2 bedroom. The apartment wa mirrored if that makes sense. The bedrooms were next to eachother and we had a bathroom at both ends! Each bedroom had a tv in.
We found that there was so much going on that we were hardly in the room anyway. Only time we had tv on was when our boys were asleep (they were worn out!)
Hope you have fun0 -
I agree with CJmardle, there is so much going on, you'll only be in your room to sleep!
We stayed in a twin one some while back now, havent done it with children, I'm sure it will be fine.
Have fun - the kids will love it!0 -
Thanks guys, think I'm worrying over nothing, I suppose you don't watch tv when on holiday abroad so why would you here.
One more question if you don't mind, it says on their website we will have an iron and ironing board but on the confirmation it says we don't, do you know which it is?0 -
Hi, I think there was an iron and ironing board next to the wardrobe? I can't be sure tho0

Hi
I got back Monday from a weekend and it was brilliant!
You wont be in your rooms much as there is so much to do :j
We were in silver with half board and the rooms were more than adequate. We had iron & ironing board.
Make sure you get to the queues for the shows early though, the queue for Stacey Solomon started at about 5.30 and the show didnt start till 7.30!! Although if you are going in 2 weeks that may be after the school holidays?? so may not be as busy
If Titan the Robot is doing a show make sure to go and see it, it is absolutely fantastic, try to get there early to get a good seat, it is so worth it.
And the swimming pool is great as well, we spent 7 hrs in total in there in a weekend!
Hope you have a fab time... I'm very jealous0 -
I agree, the Robot is very good. The food is much much better at butlins too these days. I would presume you are dining in the Yaught dining room, we were eating there and the food was lovely!
Have a great time.
oh and Kaz, I live in orpington too, what a small world!! lolNever argue with a fool, they will lower you to their level and then beat you with experience.........!!!:rotfl::T0
