Dodgy moonpig Flowers

I got a lovely birthday bouquet from my BF last week, It looked stunning in the box, but three days later it was dead.

I emailed Moonpig and they said sorry i was disappointed.

I was expecting something more really as my BF paid a lot of money for them. Is that acceptable for them to last 3 days? If I had got them from the supermarket they would have come with a 7 day guarantee and have been a fraction of the price!

Should I keep pestering them or is that fair enough?

I wasn't sure how far to go and I don't with my BF to think I'm being ungrateful!
It only takes a second to say 'Thanks, you just saved me a few quid!'

Did you cut the stems? Did you cut the at an angle?
  • yeah, i used that sachet that came with them too. I left them tied in the string though and wouldn't normally do that do you think that might have done it?

No, I'd get your boyfriend to call up and complain explaining how disappointed the recipient of the flowers was.
