Diskeeper 10 and Defragmenation

Just a little review, not really a money saving topic but a worthwhile techie one I think.
Not being one to buy software, for the past few years I have been using the free old Diskeeper Lite 3 to look after my discs.
Realising that my system was slowing up even after a right good clean out of registry rubbish, unwanted and unused software etc etc I bit the bullet and I BOUGHT ! some software.
Diskeeper 10 came as a download from their site for £23.14, it was painful adding it to cart.
However I have to recommend it totally, I have used all its features followed the instructions and the speed of my system has been transformed.
It feels like the speed you experience after a fresh install of windows, instant file access, nominal lag, bootup is even a little quicker, it sits in the background defragging all the while the PC is on with no intrusion.
For those of you with older, full, laggy systems it might be worth a punt, it was for me.

Yeah it's a great program.
Tip!
There is an option under the settings which allows the program to collate performance details on the files on the drive, it's off by default but seems to make a big difference after being on for a while as it helps the program decide which file/folders are accessed the most and deal with them appropriately.0 -
Me to, I used diskkeeper 9 and upgraded to 10 when it became available. I set the fragmentation on set it and forget it and that's just what I do now, forget it. Great utility.

p.s having said that no doubt somebody somewhere will have had trouble with it.0 -
