Hi
How can a company advertise a "100% Money Back no quibble Guarantee" when they turn round and say that you can NOT have a refund because you accept there terms and condition when you BUY the service which state that you do not get a refund.
What kind of guarantee is that?
So you go to there site. Says 100% No Quibble Money Back Guarantee.
Great you think...........
You buy........
Have major problems with the company.......
Try and get your money back as they advertise "100% Money Back Guarantee".
They turn round and say, as you accept there terms and conditions (Which you accept when you purchase the service) there are under no obligation to refund you. In the T&C they DO NOT DO REFUNDS. You accept this when you buy.
I cannot for the life of me see how this is possible.
Section 75 coming up .................thank you credit card.
Letter to Trading Standards.
Will let you know when all sorted.
Will name the company when it is all done.
KEEP ALL EMAILS JUST IN CASE YOU NEED TO DO A SECTION 75.
THEY REQUIRE ALOT OF INFO REGARDING YOUR SECTION 75 CLAIM.

Ok here we go.
As soon as you purchase there product you are "opening it".
They class you buying there service as software.
Under the software act, opened software is exempt from returns.
Just like when you buy sealed computer games for your PC, you cannot return them.
They state, because of the software act you are NOT entitled to a refund.
It is the company that set it up like this so they dont have to give refunds.
What a joke. You can have such a bad service and there is nothing you can do to get a refund.
They are in a win win situation.
It is in there small print.
Below is from there terms and conditions.
Refund Policy
Any use of our service requires the client to utilize our automated software (where the computer software is ‘unsealed’ by the computer immediately on purchase). All transactions of this type are exempt under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
Therefore, ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE even if you were to change your mind. However if, within 30 days of purchase, you find another product that offers the same quality of service, documentation and support as ours, for less money, we will give you a no-quibble 100% refund GUARANTEED.
By using our services and products you agree to our Terms and Conditions.0 -
ok what company is this because you have got me even more confused.
They state that you will get a refund if you find the product cheaper. Your original post stated none of this.one of the famous 50 -
You've got a link there, Lalande.
100% guaranteed divorce??!?!...if, within 30 days of purchase, you find another online divorce solution that offers the same quality of service, documentation and support as ours, for less money, we will give you a no-quibble 100% refund GUARANTEED.
Very confusing.0 -

sounds fairly straightforward, although even Microsoft give you the option to put the disk in/download or whatever and then you agree or disagree to the EULA...which you have to do...agree and it installs...disagree and it cancels the install....
it's to prevent software theft and piracy....I would think they're correct in saying "once you install" ... no refund...I'm now a retired teacher... hooray ...:j
Those who can do, those who can't, come to me for lessons:cool:0 -

So the "no-quibble 100% refund GUARANTEED" is only offered in the event that you find a cheaper online service of equal quality within 30 days. It doesn't imply that they will offer refunds if for any other reason.
What were the problems you had with the company or software?0 -
