have left work early. Had conversation with CEO today becuase I'm not being supported by any senior management and a number of things that are highly important are unravelling, so that felt good to offload it to someone senior and hopefully things will start to improve...
Also he implied I may not be demoted (I'm having to compete with another manager for 1 post & the other person will become the asst manager) as because of the redundancies a scheme will need to come under another service and it makes more sense for it to be me because of the specialism & geography. so all might not be lost at this point :T If this does happen I think its doable as long as I have enough staff, but will be a uge learning curve as the schemes I run are enduring mental health & this is a learning disability scheme. Will be good to have to learn a whole new specialism...
work stress is a nightmare and I fully understand...big hugs....not being supported grrr been there and left my job..thier loss!
I said something nice to someone in the vets about thier dog - so it made them smile...but then i counteracted that by winging about my neighbour who we call 'thrush' as she is very irratating!
My parents arrived at 10am...so as i got back from the vet i had been on the go till now! BUT...a car load has gone to the tip and there is alot of stuff for carboot, and might even try a couple of things on ebay..its a shame that all the cash i made to go to debts had to spent at the vet £105 for annual jab, worming pills for the year and his special food (a while ago he ended up in hospital with a blocked uretha nasty).

Hi Josie
Just wanted to say congratulations on the new baby and if he/she was born before 1 Aug I think you still get the £250 child trust fund.
Well done
SJ
P.S. Have you tried freecycle for baby stuff? One of my friends swears by this as loads of people buy stuff esp with first babies and don't end up using it
P.P.S. I recall going through a fortune myself:eek:0 -
It was Savvy for the baby congrats! I am half asleep tonight....0
