hello ickle diary, well improved my time walking/jogging now down to 31 mins and 40 seconds, so will go again tonight although it's the last thing I feel like doing.
I've paid £10 each day off the mortgage so £20 paid off so far :jonly another £280 to go and that's a month paid and £57 overpaid although we are in arrears so it's not really taking much off
I've declared my intentions this month for packed lunches and grocery challenge.
I think I'm gonna get off this bloody computer and do some work..............after drinking my lovely cup of tea and dreaming about our hols next week oooooooo a week of tidy blissSealed pot challenge - member no:506

Hope you have a great holiday next week, well done on getting the jogging time down a bit more. Well done on the mortgage payments too, it might not be reducing your balance hugely but it is getting rid of the arrears which presumably will be a weight off your mind when it is done!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". hello diary.................well the holiday was bliss, weather was lovely, food was great just a shame DP kept on buying cakes everyday cos he was "on holiday", did nothing for my waist line and put a large dent in my bank balance.
Never mind we can only learn from past mistakes and that's to not let DP anywhere near the cake counter;)
Since coming back home reality has hit and struggling money wise this week, cos I work for an agency then didn't get paid last fri as I was on hols the week before. (get hol pay in hourly rate)
So we have had to tighten our belts but not as much as we should have done
so I've had to temp cancel two direct debits
that I'll re arrange next week so we have enough to pay mortgage etc.
on the plus side DP has sorted his no claims out and I'm in process of sorting mine to keep our car insurance costs down.
Also went blackberrying at the weekend with kiddywinkles which resulted in a lovely crumble sunday night.
Also discovered a plum tree which I plundered and a work colleague has kindly donated plums and apples from her parents garden that would have went to waste.................so I'm going to try some jam making,
just need jars now, tripping over the bloody things when I don't want them yet nowhere to be found when I need them.
And I start back at uni next weekto redo that module and I only have to pay £220 not £500 yay:T
suppose I'd better go and do some work seeing as that's what I'm paid to do not being on MSE, if only I could be paid to surf MSE, knowing me I'd be itching to get on faciebook instead :rotfl:
anyhoo ta ta till next time.Sealed pot challenge - member no:506

hello diary, feeling quite low today so much to do and I keep on distracting myself with things I shouldn't MSE etc.......

I think I'm trying to hold too much info in my head so I think it's all gonna have to come out in lists probably in my note book as I find it easier to do it that way then I can narrow them down and get them on here.
my head feels like an airing cupboard with all the clothes chucked in so I think I need to do this to see where I'm at so to speak
right off to do that now will post later hopefully with an update.Sealed pot challenge - member no:506

That's good news that you didn't have to pay as much for your module.
Hope you feel better soon once you've made some lists

well, not much been happening in my life the past few weeks.
well nothing really exciting anyway............ my temp job at the agency looks like coming to an end soon as they've advertised the position, so I took the plunge and applied for that and for another position in the company which is much closer to home, fingers crossed I get an interview and get one of the positions
Since the nights have gotton really cold and dark  I've sort of given up on the exercise plus I was really struggling at the weight I'm at to do it but that doesn't help with losing any weight when I've given up the exercise.
So I've been lurking on the sw board and this week i'm gonna introduce it slowly and see how I do but then starting next week I'm gonna kick it off properly and put my all into it.
Struggling money wise this week too as DP not working so we are paying to renew his SIA licence which is costing £245 but at least it will pay for itself once he starts working :T
so goals for my life
lose 100.8lbs.
pass with flying colours my presentation and assignment for degree so I'll finally be qualified.
get DP back to work
find a permanent job i like within easy commuting distance
plan our wedding for poss 2012
start and complete doing our house up
then maybe have another baby
and possibly emigrate to canada after clearing all our debts
don't want much do I :rotfl:Sealed pot challenge - member no:506

Good luck with the job hunting and hope you get the interviews!
It looks like we have some similar goals there - I could do with losing at least 100lbs, need to do the house up, maybe start a family, I'd also love to emigrate to Canada!!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Sorry you are not feeling too good loony, everyone has down days, and it's perfectly fine to vent on here! It's your diary after all! An awful lot of what you have said resonates with me so I know how you feel.
Glad SW is going well, I need to dig out my stuff again and get planning!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
