Airport transfers

We are going to Rhodes in October and will be staying in Pefkos.
Airport transfers on some sites are quoting £170 plus for taxi to Pekfos.
Is there any shared shuttle transport we can book?

When we went to Rhodes a few years back, we simply got a bus from the airport to Rhodes Town, then another bus to Lindos (where our accomodation was). Cost us around €6 each.

Timetable here, but cannot vouch for how up to date it is, or how much of it will be running in October. The buses from the airport to Rhodes Town, and from there to Pefkos appear fairly frequent (as buses on Greece go). Depends how happy you are using public transport with bags against the convenience of a direct shuttle bus or taxi. Still, this site is money saving after all!

Another alternative is to ask some of the shuttle bus drivers when you arrive how much they can transfer you for (cash in hand) - we paid €5 each on Santorini for a transfer that was on the web was €40.
