I have 3 separate agreements with Perfect Home, two which i pay for and one my partner pays, mine is paid through my bank card for a set payment,my partner didnt pay for the one he is ment to and they rung me so i explained what had happened and that i would be in the following friday to pay, they said ok and left it at that, friday i went to pay and they had taken £90 from my bank account instead of £37 the set payment,i went in and told them they cant do that without my permission and they said its on the paper i signed to allow them to take the money out but i havent seen this, they didnt give me chance to come in and pay they just took the money and they wouldnt give it back!!they said they would take my bank card details off the system so i left it at that.....til today when they have taken money fropm my bank again withjout my permission....i am getting really fed up of there attitude and taking more than they are ment to and really need some advice as to what i can do about them

I don't get it, you allowed them to take £37 but they are taking more?
If so check the contract and get a copy of it if you don't have itThe Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!

I assume it was by card and not via direct debit (i know you said they removed your bank card details but i'm just checking).
If it was by direct debit then you're covered by the direct debit guarantee - in that if the amount varies, they are supposed to give you advance warning of this AND if a mistake is made, you are entitled to a immediate refund via your bank.
If it was by card, what type of card is it?
Are they taking your partners money from your account or is the excess money from your own agreement with with? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
Couldn't you have just edited your original post? Rather than clogging up the board with 2 threads about the same thing?0

Can't find much on them via Google but did find this
We sell top quality products for the home such as televisions, computers, games consoles, washing machines, refrigerators, dining tables and beds. Our customers can buy outright or we offer them the choice of spreading their payments by direct debit or visiting the store each week.
So the OP must have at some point signed a direct debit mandate.
Like Bright House PH appear to be a sub-prime lender with the usual high interest rates. The OP must've incurrred late payment penalties but a lot of the original post is unclear.0 -

You seem extremely defensive... I wasn't even attacking you in your first post. All I suggested is making your post more readable to improve responses ......
And somebody now is just suggesting you could have edited rather than reposting, not thing wrong with suggesting is there? Now you will know in future.....Back by no demand whatsoever.0 -

Crime - no?
Irritating thing to do - yes!
When bad stuff happens to some people it can feel like karma.

Is the other post any easier to read than that block of waffle at the top of this thread??
EDIT: Ha ha! just saw the other one. At least this one does have genuine advice about the complaint :rotfl::rotfl:0
