yes i have good news that i have been able to get a budgeting loan for £800 to help me to buy a freezer and also to help me pay off some debts. I am hoping to negotiate with some creditors to reduce some of the amounts for f and f settlements.
I have took some pictures of some stuff that i need to sell and will get sorting that out soon.
just off to pay some more money off the debts. see you all soon.PAD Maker0 -
well, friday night i went out with some friends, it was much needed and a good laugh. hoping i can start treating myself a little bit more now that my debt busting is going well.
i have ordered my new freezer and it is being delivered on wednesday morning. My mum has paid for it and i will give her the money back as soon as i get this budget loan through. cant wait to get my freezer and stock it up. God i sound sooo old.getting excited by a freezer lol.
i think i have decided where the money will go once it comes through. but i may end up changing my mind.
I have started saving again (lets see how long that lasts). I read a thread about saving a pound a day throughout the year so i am hoping to try and do that. if i can then at the end of the year i will decide what to do with it.PAD Maker0 -
Well today i got my loan through, unfortunatley it hasnt really gone to plan like i hoped. I have paid my mum back for the freezer, which got delivered this morning, i have lent my sister £85 which i should get back soon anyway and i have paid a debt and am also trying to pay another 1 now, if the web page behaves. i did end up buying a laptop, which i did really want but not what i got the money for. I am going to start sorting out a budget though as i really need to start tightening my belt and sticking to it. I think the computer will help me to keep my finances in order and keep payments on time.PAD Maker0

Not happy. Went to pay cabot last night and when i logged into my account, it shows they have added £44 in interest. i have sent them an email saying i am not happy with it and will not be paying it as the woman i spoke to that offered me a full and final settlement said if i couldnt afford it then my payment plan would not be affected. How the hell did they calculate £44 in interest anyway when the amount i owe them is only £173. Theyve had enough money out of me, they wont be getting any extra by adding interest.PAD Maker0

No email as yet from cabot.
Going food shopping tomorrow to fill my new freezer, my lovely sister is going to take me so i may be spending more this week on food, but once the freezer is full i will only have to spend a little each week. I would love to just fill the cupboards too but cant really afford that much.
I have just ordered a fitness dvd from amazon for a fiver, so hopefully will be able to lose some weight instead of giving up straight away.
Have paid capquest and robinson way a little bit more today, just to lower it down.
been up and down recently, had a really bad day with the kids where they have just been annoying me and fighting with each other so today has been a down day. hoping throughout the year it will be more ups as i start to decrease the debt, lose weight and hopefully find a lovely man who is kind, sensitive and perfect. (if there is such a man)
Anyway off i go again to look at the old style board.PAD Maker0 -
Been to ikea today only spent £4.60 because i needed batteries for my wii and brought some more plastic cutlery for my boys as the old 1s were getting a bit rubbish.
Kids are at their dads tomorrow, hoping i get some money off him, but know in my head i probably wont. he hasnt paid anything for a very long time.
Watching a few exercise bikes on ebay but they dont end till tomorrow.
Keep looking on websites at different stuff but havent gave in to buying anything yet. Still putting odd bits of change into my pot. still trying to think of ways to make money as it is taking ages for me to reach £40 on onepoll. currently at £28. been doing it for ages and thought i might have reached the target by now!!!
List of stuff to do:-
clean the house yet again
sort out some more shopping
pay rent to landlord
pay landlord for half of what i owe her for sofas.
SORT OUT A BUDGET.( havent quite worked how to use my computer properly yet.)PAD Maker0 -
