Help! Need a new ADSL Wireless Router

Hello,
I am racing around today, trying to find the best replacement for my ADSL Wireless Router. When I came home last night, my Belkin had stopped working, appears to be a power issue (yes, on a surge protector, but I have only had problems with the router, so glad to have it gone).
Anyone know of any great deals out there?
I have two laptops with Intel Pro/Wireless 2200 BG wireless cards. My provider is Virgin. I think I would do fine with 54 mbps. I require an ADSL Wireless Router, with at least one port (to connect my external hard drive - which I can then access wirelessly).
I would like to find the best bargain out there, a balance between quality and price. All help greatly appreciated.

I thought that Belkin stuff had a lifetime warranty? Have you tried contacting their product support?

Interesting, I will look into this, the router was given to us by my sister-in-law, luckily she saves every receipt (an accountant!)
Thanks a lot, very good tip!I :heart2: Waitrose0 -
If your broadband is just for surfing and downloads of songs (i.e. you don't require the fastest speeds available) and you aren't in a 12 month contract with anyone. Go with AOL as they are offering 1mb broadband, uncapped and a free wireless router for £14.99 a month. 12 month contract will apply though. I believe it's the silver package.0

That's a very good point, I have tried to avoid the 12 month contract by going with Virgin, but the service hasn't been so great, so perhaps the AOL option would be a good solution.
