Quick history - fractured wrist two years ago at work, permanent damage to wrist. Had interim payment a few months ago. Going to take 3-4 months to settle.
Now I have heard on good authority that my ex-employer may be closing down and going out of business in next few months.
Does that mean that I will not get any money if not settled before he shuts down. Not sure if bankruptcy involved

Don't worry. Their insurers will be dealing with the claim. I'm assuming that that's who you got the interim payment from?0

As Sarah says, the insurers should be dealing with it. There are some companies who self-insure but unless it's a huge company it's unlikely that your employer does this. Even if they did they would have to have some contingency plan as Employers Liability is a compulsory insurance.0
