Is it illegal to download software ?

Those of course who haven't secured their networks, but then even these can be hacked in to.

Well mines secure, I check my connections daily so id know if anyone was/had used my network. I havnt as yet but if I believed my security had been compromised then id switch on MAC filtering too

if they still defeat me they deserve to use my net.........

The only way you'd know is if your router logs every connection or you checked and 3 devices showed when you only have two connected you know of.

MAC filtering is a waste of time. MAC sniffing is old hat. I can change the MAC address on my wifi adapter in Windows in 10 seconds with the tools Windows provides in Device Manager.

All my devices are given an ip address specific to them. Id know another instantly

But sure, I get hacked all the time. I deserve it..................
