U Switch heard nothing
A couple of weeks ago went through U Switch to change gas & elec suppliers, but have heard nothing from new suppliers, or old ones either. Does anyone know how long it takes to get acknowledgement form new supplier. I've seen stories of how difficult it is to get money back from suppliers, and so don't want DD's going out much longer, but I don't want to get behind with payments.

FYI.
Received a postcard today from Atlantic. Should be receiving a Welcome Pack 'shortly'. So if it happens within a couple of days, I'll have made the switch in just about 6 weeks. :beer:0 -
I switched my gas to Ebico on 29/08 and had an email saying I would hear from their agents ( Swalec ) within 10 to 14 days but I am still waiting to hear from Swalec .
I emailed Ebico last week who confirmed my application is being processed but they couldn't give me a start date although they said Swalec will contact me near to completion with my start dates.0 -

Our Atlantic switch has taken quite a while but they phoned to give us a date when we should send meter readings, it's in a couple of weeks. We then got a letter from EDF who are our current suppliers to say they are putting up their on-line tariff so we'll have to pay their new rate for a fortnight.:p0

It looks like I am at the same stage as you Teapotz. Had a couple of calls from NPower yesterday asking if it was correct I was changing. Obviously said yes - reason - Atlantic cheaper - reaction, you've been on the internet then!0
