Question about relisting

Hi Guys,
Can anybody please confirm my understanding of listing and relisting in relation to the upcoming 5p listing day?
Am I right in thinking that I can list any But-it-nows on wednesday for just 5p, no matter what the price, and only pay extra for upgrades such as gallery etc?
And if any items didn't sell, but I later relisted them and they sold second time around, I would have my second insertion fee refunded? In effect I would still have only paid 5p?
If so, would I still have the insertion fee refunded if I edited the item before relisting, e.g. reduced the price?
Sorry about all the questions, but sometimes the more you read on ebay, the more confused you get!
Thanks

Hi can anybody help?
I have looked, I just don't want to get stung for loads of extra fees.0 -
I know I'm still classed as a Newbie, but I also feel invisable! LOL!0
-
You're not invisible! Not sure enough of the answer to tell you what you need to know. I have a feeling that there is a catch with relisting Buy It Nows - and normally BINs are excluded from cheap listing days as far as i know. I am sure Soo will answer you when he spots your thread - he knows pretty well all the answers!0

Thanks glossy,
I was wondering if I was even posting right!0 -
Who said that?

Fine, I'll give it a go, but don't blame me if I'm wrong...
Question one - yes
Question two - yes
Question three - yes, however I am not too sure here, as there are some changes which would make it a new item, such as title, but price, pictures, description can all be changed.
There.:wall:0 -

There.
I agree with Agutka. My only slight quiblle would be on question 3, sometimes the terms and conditons on these cheap days preclude any changes being made to the listing,

Aaah, the newbie initiation - ignore them and make them wonder...
This always happens to me btw, so don't take it personally. It's just this type of question we like to leave to the professionals, such as Soolin, who I'm pretty sure is of the female persuasion.
Not much of one, but ... welcome?...:wall:0 -

I don't feel much like someone who knows what they are doing today actually..another argument at the local PO and had a very stern email froma seller who ticked me off when I politely enquired where my item was that I bought 9 days ago. Apparently 'everyone who uses ebay properly' would know that as he got so little for his item he doesn't have to hurry to post it, oh, and apparently it is polite to pay the paypal charges as 'everyone' does when they buy small value items and shouldn't expect the seller to pay it all themselves.
Sorry, I'm not hijacking the thread at all (naughty Soolin).so back on topic...tomorrow's 5p BIN day is one of the horrible ones where the 'sell your item' form shows th efull amount but the 5p is shown correctly in the accounts section.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Look emmamaw what you started...
Soo, using one of your newer buying accounts were you? Isn't it lovely how patronising people get when they think you're a newbie? Where do you find these people?:wall:0 -

You are right Agutka, my ID has 85 feedback, mind you the seller only had 32 feedback and a neutral as a non paying bidder..
