Need proof of qualifications where do I start??

I have been offered a position, in principal and am currently in the process of pre -employment checks.
Problem is I need proof of my qualifications - which I do not have. I left school in 1995 and have no idea what happened to the slip of paper, I do however have a further two NVQ's well, I think they are I did a NCFE course in call centre techniques and gained a certificate and I have a certificate of credit towards Level 2 NVQ in telesales, do these count for anything????
I'm panicking :mad::mad::mad::mad:

    Phone the school and ask for a copy?
    The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!

    If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!

    I think you will find the NCFE certificate isn't an NVQ but an NCFE certificate. The certificate could be used as evidence in an NVQ to show you have the relevant knowledge and understanding.

    If the L2 certificate says it is a credit towards an NVQ then it will be for a unit in an NVQ, not a full NVQ.

    I would expect a call centre to be interested and any other employer who was looking for similar skills.

    Can you remember the name of the examination board(s)? If you can't, are you in touch with anyone who was at the school and can remember?

    With that information and the date(s) that you would have taken the exams, you could approach the examination board and they will seek out the results and sell you a copy certificate. They will charge for the search too.

    I left school in '99 and the certificates were from;

    OCR
    NEAB
    EDEXCEL

    Don't know if that helps.. that was for my GCSE's..
    9/70lbs to lose :)

    Yes, they really want proof. It is for a position within the NHS and the job description states essential to have a "good standard of education" I rang them earlier to explain that is the only information I didn't have and they just said to keep them up to date on how I get on.
    I sat an assessment of the job role and did an English and Maths test prior to them inviting me to interview, I would have thought that would be enough.
