Cheap Sandwich Labels

Hi I run a catering firm part time and one of my clients has said in passing they would like sandwiches delivered regularly. I have the packaging but would like your advice on where I can get the labels. They would need to look professional so therefore need to be typed. If there are any products that you can think of which will just require me to add the text before home printing I would be most grateful. My budget is small and as this is a new area I don't want to invest too much on software and printers too soon.
Many Thanks

Do you have a normal printer?
You can buy labels in sheets and print them off yourself
For example: http://www.staples.co.uk/laser-labels-18-per-sheet-white-100-sheets
These can be done using word or whatever WP software you use. You can add clip art, smilies, whatever size text/ colours
You dont need anything special , these can be used on any old cheapo printer, works fine on my printer that was only 25.00:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

It looks similar to my printer.
You simply lie the sheets of stickers in as you would with paper.
Somewhere on word there is a option on one of the menus "print label" this will give you the guide as to the size of the label and what text etc you can cram into it:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? I'm sure there are several ways to do this but one that instantly springs to mind is a Dymo printer.
With the software you could set up a label showing a background image or company logo or whatever. You could then just type the filling into the box or better still just duplicate the template several times with different text, e.g. cheese & pickle, egg & cress etc then just print out the relevant number.
Long term it won't be the cheapest option but it will be extremely simple and will look professional so a good way to start off. The price of the printer doesn't really matter as you can buy and sell it on Ebay but the labels cost a bit.
Having said all that getting a print run of logo'd labels with a space left blank to write the name in should be fine, it should look professional enough for starting out.0 -
