Hi,

Have bought DVD+R from the US and I can't seem to run it on my DVP520 dvd player. I have unlocked it and still it won't play. Any advice please.

Hi, is this a commercial disc or bought from an individual, the only reason I can think of for it not reading the disc is that the disc has not been finalised. If the disc plays but does not give the correct sound/picture then thats something different . eg NTSC system etc..

Is your player capable of playing a +R disk?

Some players will only accept -R disks which I think is generally european standard.

I thought all players were +-R both nowadays.

Private burnt DVDs will often be fussy with which players they will work with, if the laser it was burnt with is slightly out of line.
