Applying for an IVA, but have a PPI claim outstanding
I was advised this might be a better place to post this question than on the PPI board, so hopefully someone may be able to advise.
I have had a claim for mis-sold PPI on an Egg loan since the beginning of 2009, it went to the FOS, but they have still not done anything with the claim, presumably due to being overwhelmed, although I can't believe it's taking such a long time.
However, I am now in the situation where my debt is out of control and I am applying for an IVA, in which the outstanding amount on the Egg loan is included. What is the situation with the PPI claim? The loan is not currently in arrears, but obviously will be subject to the IVA if it's approved.
Advice welcome, before I write to the FSO advising them of the situation. Thank you.

You can still reclaim your PPI but just take note that any significant amount would most likely be considered a windfall and would have to be paid into your IVAWould you ask the wolves to look after the sheep?
