Hello.
I was wondering whether someone could help me. I recently decided to have my beard shaved off, having had facial hair for about five years. However, the problem is that I think it may have impacted my profession; colleagues are not treating me with the respect they once did and I dont feel enough work is coming my way. I think my status as a businessman is in decline.
Would this be covered under my PA policy if I am forced to take time off work? What about Household Contents because I have that, £12 a month.
I dont want to my career anymore harm, and would rather wait until said beard is restored before returning to work.
Thanks. JS.

I think you should trim your costs - £12.00 a month seems excessive. If you need more money due to your reduced earnings, perhaps you could razor loan from you bank or you could become within a whisker of losing everything.
Don't go for any hair brained money making schemes though.
You could always goatee a building society as well although if you do have anything to invest, Scot-tash Widows investments are apparently good!
Sorry

I think this is a shaggy dog story.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

Do you have legal cover with your policy? This is just the sort of issue people find them a godsend for. Failing that are you in a union? Or a freemason? They will help you.0

I see that my query has brought out much buffoonery amongst my fellow posters. However, this is a serious issue of which I do not wish to joke about.
I do feel that it is necessary to create an image of oneself in the office environment in order to be taken seriously, it was an error on my part that my hairless face would result in me being percieved as incompetent. This is an issue that has affected career women for generations.
I have heard that this might be claimable under contents but am not too sure. A close friend, Guy Bow, also suggested that it might fall under Temporary Partial Disablement on a PA policy?
Thanks, JS.0 -
To be honest, it's probably your dodgy teeth that got knocked out in that fight that are putting people off.
Did you get them fixed in the end?
Did you find anyone to claim from?0 -

Notwithstanding anything hereby contained within to the contrary, me thinks that you ought to get out more (with or without facial hair)
I would be more worried about the hair on the palms of your hand.
