PPI claim outstanding, but now faced with IVA

I have had a claim for mis-sold PPI on an Egg loan since the beginning of 2009, it went to the FOS, but they have still not done anything with the claim, presumably due to being overwhelmed, although I can't believe it's taking such a long time.

However, I am now in the situation where my debt is out of control and I am applying for an IVA, in which the outstanding amount on the Egg loan is included. What is the situation with the PPI claim? The loan is not currently in arrears, but obviously will be subject to the IVA if it's approved.

Advice welcome, before I write to the FSO advising them of the situation. Thank you.

Hope this is sorted soon for you.

I am really not sure about these matters in regards of IVA, but I am aware that many have tried to make a reclaim on the ppi whilst going this direction.

If you want to, post on the IVA thread as below and ask if anyone else been in this situation and for advice on this matter, hopefully you will receive some helpful responses.;)
