It is interesting that the ASA upheld the complaint in May 2010 , JND Ltd had probably ceased trading by then (JDM UK Marketing Ltd had started in 2009 so I doubt that the ASA clowns got the name right) :rotfl:

Hi everyone.

Thanks for everyone's info. I have ordered loads of stuff from them for myself (arthritis related things) and for my elderly friend and for my dad, (disability aids etc)
and never had any problem. They do send free gifts but you can say if you don't want them. I have always found a use for the free gifts - usually its bags and bag sets.
The last order I made was on 16th Spetember 2010 and it came without a problem. I am worried to order from them any more after what i have read here

Tahks for the warning. I know that Motability (the charity that lease-hires vehicles to severely disabled people) sends out Bright-Life UK's catalogue (along with other companies' marketing material) as an insert to Motability's Lifestyle magazine as they need to raise funds in order to continue their wonderful charitable work, but I will be asking if they would seriously reconsider doing so in te light of these problems.

I am going to check out House of Bath mail order reviews on this site, as I know of customers experiencing not too dissimialr problems with that company - despite presenting itself as more up-market and gives the appearance of being more reliable.
