I read that the Guarantee given by the Irish Government is only applicable up until September 2010. What happens to our savings in Anglo irish or Post Office after that date?

The current guarantee is for all deposits. After that date it will be limited to the equivalent of €100,000.0

It is proposed that the UK guarantee will increase to €100,000 at the end of the year. A guarantee of at least €100,000 is already in place for many countries inside the Eurozone including The Republic Of Ireland.0
