I just remembered the reason I didn't buy truecall was I came up with another idea I had forgotten about.
No overlap with truecall and not even aimed at the same market - also not implemented and would require a lot of cash.0 -

Calling them made me laugh out loud - after I used the automatic system I was asked if I wanted information on how to block ALL silent/sales calls etc.
I thought that this was a good idea so hung on to see what happened next...
The recorded message asked me to leave my number so that a salesperson could call me about the purchasing the system.

I get 1 or 2 silent calls a day sometimes - how would anyone know that they had been called by Homeserve ?? ...how would they prove it anyway??0

On returning home from work, I checked 1471 everyday for the last few weeks and there was a new 'number withheld' message almost every single day. I then registered online with silentgard a week ago and I've not had a single 'number withheld' message on 1471 since.0

They say they (luckily for us) have a record of all the silent calls they made.
All they need to do is check your number against that list, then refuse your claim!

More nuisance calls today from "Green Energy". They seem to call a couple of times after I tell them to "go away".0
