HSBC EMAIL - odd!

Hi - has any one had an email in the last couple of weeks from HSBC telling them that their email access has been disabled due to failed access attempts and if you don't reactivate it you will loose this facility??
My colleague and I have and the great thing about this?........ Neither of us bank at HSBC!:rotfl:

Would be interested to hear if anyone else has had this.

Yes, it's just a phishing attempt. Ignore it, I've had hundreds of this sort of thing over the years.

I get those every other day from all type of banks which I have no dealing with....never..ever open the link

Just once in a while your real bank will send you a real message offering some new facility. Don't they realise we are all so well trained in this phishing stuff that we automatically bin every banking communication just in case?
It's like tipping all the junk out of a Sunday colour supplement.

My missus had one last week but as she doesnt bank with hsbc i told her to ignore it.
