Ergonomic Keyboard

I work as a self-employed typist from home and am after a good ergonomic keyboard and mouse (not essential, though). Ideally I would like a wireless keyboard as I switch between desktop and laptop so wireless would be much more convenient.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to the best one to get? So far, I've looked at Microsoft and Logitech (I currently have a Logitech keyboard and mouse for the desktop) and am confused!

Thanks, in advance, for any advance that you may have for me.

The wireless keyboards I've seen have a USB (or PS/2) receiver that needs to be plugged directly into the PC, so you would still need to unplug the cable to switch between laptop and desktop.

Personally I found wireless keyboards to be a bit of a pain - occasionally a keypress would not register, and this gets worse and worse as the batteries run down.

Just an idea, but you could get a wired keyboard (like the cheap, but good quality & ergonomic Microsoft Internet keyboard) and a KVM switch so you can plug it into your desktop and laptop simultaneously and switch between them...

As for mice, I find my (wired) Logitech Marble Mouse really comfortable (it's actually a trackball), but I also use a wireless, rechargable Logitech MX1000 laser mouse that is really comfortable too.
