in Gardening
Hi, I've never done any gardening in my life but I have decided that my comunal green looks awful and I need to do something with it.
There used to be some old brick sheds but there were torn down a few years ago and there is now just weeds along the back of the green.
I am going to spray some weed killer today but is there anything else I can do? I'm looking for easy grow things since no one else in the building seems bothered lol. Flowers preferably.
Is it too late in the year to plant anything once the weeds go?
I live in Scotland if that makes a difference.

You could scout the DIY 'sheds' for bedding plants being sold off cheaply, they'd last until the 1st frosts. Not sure, but the winter pansies must be coming into the shops soon, which will keep their flowers, although not grow very much when it gets chill.0 -
Don't get winter pansies too soon, if you have an Indian summer then they stretch and grow lank.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
