Is there any way of making Excel 2007 less grey to look at?

I've just gone from office 03 to office 07. I've found that Excel looks very grey on the screen - it's all artistic grey and blue shades which I've found to be a bit of a strain on the eyes.
It only seems to offer 3 colour schemes and they look similar. Is there any way to make it use some black rather than grey?
It does annoy me when someone makes something "look good" rather than consider ease of visibility.

Don't know about different themes but for regular use I just turn off all the toolbars. On the View menu the only thing I have ticked is the formula bar.
Also ensure you are in 'Normal' view rather than 'Page Layout' view so you do not have the visible but unused pages greyed out.
And I always have gridlines turned off.0 -
