Is it worth a small time seller like me using Auctiva

Hi,
I hope someone can help me.
I am having clear out of all my old clothes and shoes.
Not by choice dare I add but my DH has had enough  !
Anyway I only sell the odd bits of Ebay so am out of the loop about how is the best way to maximise my sales.
In the past I have used Auctiva so I can schedule listings and use a variety of photos but I understand their services are no longer free.
Is it worth me paying as I would raher list during the day, as I'm currently off work, rather than in the evening when the DH is home.
I read this thread a lot and from what I have read Ebay aren't exactly hellping small-time sellers like me so I probably won't make the sort of money I did three years ago.
For this reason I will list well-known names rather than your bog standard high-street names.
Any advice please?
Thanks

I just use Turbolister and prepare my auctions during the day and upload when convenient.
Many clothing categries allow extra photos for free as well, so always worth checkingI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Turbolister is free, log into ebay.uk and search for turbolister and download it directly from them.
Just double check your fees before you upload to make sure you haven't added any chargeable extras by accident.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Turbolister is free (no templates though) If you wish to use auctiva you need to work out the price per item and if you can absorb the costs in your sales. Also the question if it will increase your sales?0

Do you think templates help to attract more buyers?
I ask because they don't make a difference to me when I'm buying!!Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

You're allowed 100 free 99p (and under) starts per month.me4bargains wrote: »Sorry another question, must I ensure that I don't list 99 items this month?

There's nothing to say you can't pay for more or start at higher prices though
Although you might want to be careful if you are listing close to that amount anyway as ebay seem to think a lot of private clothes sellers are actually businesses. This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

The 100 free listings per month only apply to a 99p start. However eBay are scrutinising accounts closely for signs that they are a business, and this often goes by volume, so you need to be careful that things don't all get piled in at once. Spreading listings out over several months helps reassure them that you are not an unregistered business abusing the facilities.me4bargains wrote: »Sorry another question, must I ensure that I don't list 99 items this month?

Okey doks,
Thanks for this.
I've got some lovely bits that I won't be starting at 99p.
I think I'll list around 25 this week and see how I get on.Third time lucky on WW I hope :j
