My better half tried to register with emusic in March. Gave all the details and was then unable to log in. Just discovered that they have been taking £13.99 from my bank account since then to the sum of £97.93. Turns out he mis typed his e-mail address. They have refunded £27.98 but say they are unable to refund charges over 60 days old. They have told me that they know that I have we have not logged into the site since that date in March. I say they have have taken money from my bank account knowing that we were unable to log on but they say that they are not liable. The e-mail address that they sent the user ID to does not exist. Can anyone tell me if there is anything I can do to get my money back or are they correct.0

If someone doesn't notice £13.99 going out every month for half a year then he might have enough of it. You should be happy to get at least some money back. What do the terms & conditions you accepted when you signed up say about it?
My alarm bells would ring if I had just entered my CC details somewhere and then I'm not able to log in. I would set all wheels in motion to get access to this account...0 -
Thanks but don't you think that we feel stupid enough. Bank statements are online so I stupidly just scan.
Terms and conditions don't mention 60 days anywhere. My point is that they must have withdrawn money from the account knowing that we had no access to it.0
