best supplier for cables

Hi,

I am after a S-video to S-video cable as well as a firewire cable (4 pin to 6 pin). I wonder if anyone knows a decent supplier (I have tried ebuyer) and what would be an expected price - they seem to vary considerably (not sure if this is based on quality!)

Yes, you allegedly pay extra for quality but you're probably best to stick to mid-range pricing. I'd personally recommend CPC for a big range of cables & other sundry kit: http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/home/homepage.jsp

for AV cables I would suggest going for the brand QED (or IXOS if you want it a bit cheaper) and then simply froogle/ pricerunner the model number for a cheap supplier
