Payments from Savings Account

Hi
I just need to be reminded about the following accounts:
Egg 3.25% account
It's not linked to an account, and I could transfer large single amounts to any payee I wish
A&L Online Saver 5
This is linked to a current, to which payments must be made to. Cannot pay directly to another account, internal or third party.
Are the above correct?

A&L savings can now be transferred directly to any other of your savings accounts linked to the current account but not other joint account holders savings accounts. This is a new thing since migration to Santander. You can also now run the account down to £0.0
