What to do next please?

Hi all - put in a claim for mis-selling ppi on virgin CC when I tried to claim on the policy and it was turned down:cool: - had a call off MBNA tonight offering half the total amount paid (they have offered £860) so I presume the total will be £1720, the girl on the phone explained although I wasnt covered for redundancy on the policy, it would have still paid out if I was taken into hospital/sickness? - I said I'd think about it - what do you reckon? - take the money and run or stick it out and refer to the Ombudsam, many thanks

The decision is absolutely yours, if you feel satisfied with that amount then that is fine.
Wonder why they rang though and didn't put it into writing?
Did she mention interest in with that do you know?
I would ask for a written breakdown if you can, in detail.

Either way we are with you, depending if your happy or not, if your not and they don't higher the amount, you always have the FOS to fall back on, although they may take some time, due to the volumes of complaints.
