Amazon Credit Card Application, how long do i wait?

Hi all, long time reader, first time poster. I applied for an amazon credit card at the weekend, it says on site that it can take up to 2 weeks to find out if my application will be accepted, any idea how long i will realistically wait and if I should chase it up?

You need to wait the 2 weeks. I've just done that today after I applied on the 10th and hadn't heard anything. Apparently I have a letter in the post, but it would've been nice to have had an email so they could actually meet their 2 week deadline.

The phone number you need to call is 0800 917 4560 (which is for application queries), not the customer services number listed in the T&Cs.

Mine arrived in the post within 10 days. However, the drawback was that MBNA reduced the credit on my other charity MBNA cards by over 3 times the amount of credit that was given to the new card. BEWARE anyone thinking of applying and having MBNA cards already.
