Does anyone know if you can use the vouchers for different cans? Like instead of a Smirnoff and cola, use that voucher for a G&T?

No, you can't. It didn't work for me.

Tried to use this voucher in Tesco today, it wouldn't scan at the checkout and the SA refused to accept it, saying it was a copy even though I insisted it wasn't. Ended up having to take it to Customer Services and get a refund there.

That and a simlar experience in Sainsburys with the Morgans voucher and a "not another home-made coupon" jibe from the checkout supervisor makes me feel that these things just aren't worth the hassle for £1.72

Mind you, the Morgans rum & coke was delicious with ice & a wedge of lime ;)

You should complain. Especially about the attitude of the supervisor in Sainsburys. That is simply not on.

It amazes me how many people work in customer service jobs and failto actually bother to give good customer service or any customer service at all.

Drop Sainsburys an email. I would email Tesco too. It's up to those stores to be aware of the offers on and even if they are not you should never speak to/treat a customer in that manner.

Glad you still enjoyed your drink. :)

  • Hi All,

I thought I would post what I have just tried and it worked.

I registered with the " freebie " twice, using different e-mail address', all other information was exactly the same. Therefore this tells me they only have a field where-by it recognises multiple registrations via email address input.

I printed off two vouchers ( as I have x 2 different e-mail addys ) then I re-printed another one by clicking the " try again link ". ( Produces difference barcode numbers ) Total: 3 vouchers

Went to my local Tesco, picked up x 3 Smirnoff Vodka cans - also on offer: 3 for £4.00 @ £1.72 each

Promotion deducted £1.16 from my shopping bill

Handed over my coupons, and all three vouchers were accepted for all three cans in one single transaction ( she did manually enter two vouchers ) She did check the T's & C's and as it does not state anywhere on there itself about not being accepted in one shop ( yet it does on the website )

Therefore, I had £1.16 deducted from my whole shopping bill and came away with x three cans of free Smirnoff Vodka!

Maybe give it a go, if not no harm in just voiding the other two off after, and getting your one free can....

Hope it works for some of you xx K xx

Thanks I will, I'll also let the sites know too. I tried not to feel embarrassed in Tesco this morning arguing over alcohol at 9am but it wasn't easy especially as I had DD with me :o
