Anybody managed to upgrade to 2011? I have tried but unable to do it unless I am doing something wrong. Also I am buying a new laptop, I forgot what to do to install kas for the first time on the laptop. Thanks

I upgraded OK, but there's a bug in it at the moment which affects the use of Windows Photo Viewer from Windows Explorer, and produces a 'COM Surrogate is not responding' message.
That results in the pooter needing to be powered down the hard way and, if you aren't careful, you then lose data that you were working on, as well as cookies for accessing websites.
They're supposed to be working on a fix.
I've reverted to KAV 2010.0 -
Thanks for the update. I won't be recommending installation for now.0

Yes, no problems on three PCs (apart from a couple of blue screens on the install on one!). For a new PC you have to enter the Activation Code printed near the centre hole on the installation CD. That's assuming you haven't run out of installs - usually one or three.Anybody managed to upgrade to 2011? I have tried but unable to do it unless I am doing something wrong. Hi I have just been a victim of the Kaspersky Internet Security upgrade flaw from 2010 version to 2011. Installed ok but on reboot affected all my usb ports. I was unable to use keyboard or mouse was a devil of a job to get things working again!
