When you apply for a credit card does this show up on your credit report straight away.

The 'search' will show up almost immediately.

The 'account information' (credit limit, used credit [debt], payment history, etc) may take a little longer to appear. For example, LTSB took around 3 months to report my credit card account information to the credit reference agencies last year.
