Hi all,
My mum has had a capital one credit card for about 5 years, and has recently paid the balance off. However she got a letter from them saying her new balance was 18 quid, for an annual membership fee!!!!
Does anyone know anything about this? Can she ring them and tell them where to stick their membership fee?
any replies much appreciated!!

I know they charge an annual fee on the cashback cards these days....
best thing to do is to ring em (or use their online service to email)Proud of who, and what, I am. :female::male::cool:0 -
Sounds like the annual fee of the top-of-the line 1% cashback world mastercard:

It's not that bad if you can spend more than £1800 a year, but it's not wise to keep it unused...Enjoy the silence...0 -
I have had my cash back card for 3 years now with Cap one and not had this charged. If it's a fairly recent application, I know they have started charging.0
