With RBS you'd have to bounce 2 direct debits a month for this bunch to save any money
And that's assuming you don't call them or use any other of their services. The vast majority of their customers could easily get bank accounts but it's in Think's interests to keep people's aspirations low.0 -
Just looking at their website they do now refer to internet banking. This must be why they've increased their fees.0

them accounts use to cost £12.50 a month now increased to £14, legal robbery is what this is, I cant get a bank account anywhere but i will never lower my self to go with them.0
-
Yes, I've heard of them before but I think the fee would put me off using them. Good luck whatever you decide! xxx0

Crooks, just go to a bank and get a basic account.

just to set the record straight

"The Fairbanking Foundation – a charity set up to encourage banks to act in customers' interests – dished out the first of its newly-launched accreditations today.
It surveyed more than 250 current accounts, savings accounts and credit cards at 40 different providers in the UK.
Only small-time players Thinkbanking and Secure Trust met the required standards for promoting 'financial well-being' in a current account, Fairbanking said."

Of course it does - the The Fairbanking Foundation – a charity set up to encourage banks to act in customers' interests has voted them the best bank for current accounts

but the The Fairbanking Foundation – a charity set up to encourage banks to act in customers' interests says they are the best bank
Fairbanking's says its rating system is less about price and more about quality of service. It said the 'very high level of service and tools' at Thinkbanking and Secure Trust were so good they're worth paying for. :j

So a self-appointed organisation like fairbanking consider thinkbanking is a good buy, whilst many of the members on here says they aren't. This is a money-saving site. Why encourage people to pay over the odds for a service that they can do for themselves for nothing?
Thinkbanking sell their services on the basis of fear.0 -
I thought Dr_Cuckoo3's post was supposed to be humorous. Surely he/she doesn't actually believe all that tosh which he/she posted.

Unfortunately there are people who will believe the rubbish spouted by the fairbanking group0

Poorly written article anyway. It refers to RBS' 'Your Savings Goal', an online tool as a 'Savings Account'. Which it isn't.0
