If it uses Smart Media, it will only take Smart Media; no other type will work.
Don't bother with ebay for memory cards.
- It is impossible to find someone based in the UK rather than someone who ships from the other side of the world.
-Their shipping costs hide the true cost of the item.
-You may get stung for duty and VAT.
How about a Fuji 64MB SmartMedia Card £8.14 inc VAT and free P&P from Ebuyer

or a Fuji 128MB SmartMedia Card for £15.27 inc VAT and free P&P from Ebuyer

or a Lexar Media 128MB SmartMedia Card for £11.99 also inc VAT and free P&P from Ebuyer

thanks for replying Altarf.
i dont really know if my camera only can use smart media, its a FinePix 2400 zoom.
if that helps, ;-) so would other memory cards be just as good?, or can i only use Fuji?,
oh and i see what you meen about ebay, ive been thinking of buying a memory card on there, but ill take your advice insted.0 -
It can only use SmartMedia cards, and apparently it cannot use any larger than 64MB.

It should work with any brand, but I would probably just buy the Fuji 64MB SmartMedia at ebuyer I listed earlier as it definitely matches the specs.

Oh and if you use ebuyer you need to select their super saving shipping, otherwise they charge you for the standard service.0 -

Hi kind-veggie-girl, have you managed to buy a memory card yet? I may be able to help so if you are interested then reply/send me a PM... I have the items on ebay but will sell it to you cheaper if you like?
If you are interested then let me know, if not I will understand...I can let you know my ebay ID just so you can see I'm telling the truth & have 100% feedback etc, I would put it on here don't want to be seen as advertising an ebay product, and am just trying to help you out??!!
If you are interested then I can send you a brand new Olympus 128mb card (i use them in my Fuiji Fujipix camera and they work fine) for £15 incl postage...
Regards

You might want to try https://www.7dayshop.com. I've used them quite a few times without any problems. Very competetive partly due to their location in the Channel Islands.0 -

But hopeless if you are buying single small items due their £2.95 P&P charge, which wipes out the cost savings.
For small stuff I have found ebuyer appears slightly more expensive until you realise that the P&P is free.0
