They is also going to be a news shopping parade around the National Stadium that is promising high-end high street names.
Not holding my breath though!
oooh where is the TK Maxx? Came through on the bus a few weeks ago, and didn't see it.
It will be good if they do that around the Stadium. Did you know Wembley high road used to be known as the Oxford Street of Wembley? Because of the quality of the shops and number of shops.0 -

Someone else told me that a while back.
It must have been before Brent Cross opened in the mid 70s as that crucified the High Road's shops.
But, I'm old enough to remember when it did have some decent shops like Dolcis, Ravel, C&A and BHS.
The TK Maxx is where Wembley Square used to be right opposite the Primark.
It is unmistakenly one of the best branches of TK Maxx I have visited in London.
It has really, really nice stuff that you won't see in Harrow or Ealing.
In their clearance sale in the New Year I got a Lulu Guinness clutch bag for £5!:j
The branch is attracting new shoppers to the area without a doubt.Third time lucky on WW I hope :j
