Funds do have codes and they are downloadable (?) it just depends on where you / JStock are sourcing their info from.
A number of people use QuoteTracker as this allows downloads from a large number of different sites.Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

An example would be great

Just go to any of the tracking web sites and type in the name.
For example go to http://www.google.co.uk/finance
Start typing in "Fidelity Europe". As you start typing a list of matching fund names and codes apears. They will also show you a past performace graph which you can play with using the sliders or links.
Having said that much as I like Google they don't have all the funds. But if yours is missing there are lots of other similar sites.0 -
By the way if you are about to start buying funds for the first time you might like to read the Discount Brokers article. No sense in paying higher charges than you need to.0

If you go to the iii website for funds they provide the code in brackets after the name. Thanks, how do I find a code for a fund please

One thing to bear in mind is that it is dependant on the source fund data. I know that when Microsoft used to supply fund data for MS Money it relied on a 10 digit code, not the more usual UK based alphas.Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

I use Trustnet to keep track of investments. They give the codes too. I particularly like this site because I can list any asset. They also show past performance of funds over 1,3 or more years. iii is very good but I could not list everything.0
