Thanks PP for keeping tabs on everyone. I need to change my pledge back to £20 as I've got a voucher from Mr T, save £3 when spending £20. Obviously going to take the calculator so I don't fall for Mr T's usual ploy with the vouchers.;)

  • Hi everyone!

After a couple of weeks absence, I'm back - Pointy, I'd like to pledge £65 for W/C 22nd August 2010, out of which I'll include my big weekly food shop - I also have to replace a punctured tyre on the motorcycle at the weekend; however, I wont include that spend as it is a neccesary spend that I can't do anything about.

    Thanks Pointy!

Good luck for the week everyone!

Does anyone know if a new thread has been started this week? It seems very quiet around these parts.

So far this week I've spent £4.90 of my budget, but hopefully will have NSD's tomorrow and saturday.

It looks like this week's thread hasn't been started - Pointy's last post was a whole week ago - I hope you're OK Pointy!

I'm currently purple for the week; however, the cupboards are bare, so a big food shop is on the cards for tomorrow!

Hope everyone else is getting on OK and collecting lots of NSDs.

    Chris,
So impressed with your figures, highest debt to current debt. How did you do it?????
My debt is 90K, inc mortgage. Want rid of it quick time.
Now only buying what I truly need, loyalty scheme maximising, quidco shopping, driving an environmentally friendly car. What else would you recommend?

    Hi mongmoney!

I blame will-power, plus the support and enthusiasm of others on the forum!

I find that the monthly NSD (No Spend Day) challenges are great for keeping me focused and on track - I report on a daily/regular basis with how I'm getting on, and I find everyone is really supportive plus the NSD challenges make debt busting fun! It also complements this Weekly Spend Challenge rather well!

Sounds like you're doing all the right things. I'd also recommend signing up to some of the other challenges/threads (such as the monthly NSD challenges) and don't be too hard on yourself - make debt busting fun and you'll soon relish not spending money!

    Evening all!

I came in green with total of £7.00 last week. I was very proud of myself.

I'd like to pledge £80 this week as I have the week off and intend to enjoy it.

    Good luck to all xx
