    Congratulations slm :j she's lovely

Ejecoms, a friend of mine swears by Optimal Foetal Positioning, which as far as I can see means spending inordinate amounts of time on all fours with your bum up in the air. Probably best to do some research though.

Good luck anyone who's overdue, hope there's a rash of babies today.

    Congrats SLM she's beautiful!

I Hope today's the day Emsy!

2 days until my due date, but I don't think I'll be queue jumping considering head was "free" at the midwife appointment 2 days ago and I've had no twinges, no show, nothing.

Emsy weird one I know, but the midwives advised my friend to get in a bath on all fours and sway from side to side to encourage babs to make an appearance.

Congratulations sim! She is so cute!

Unfortunately baby is still breech. I can feel his head sticking under my ribs. Sometimes he moves so he's transverse but doesn't want to be upside-down. I've got a scan in a couple of weeks so if he is still breech they'll refer me for ECV but I'd rather he turned before. I've tried tilting my body in various ways and handstands while swimming but just got water up my nose. Has anyone had moxibustion? Or any other suggestions?

    Love to all!

Didnt get a chance to try this as I was told baby was breech at 36 weeks and measuring 7lbs....went for ECV but they forgot to give me the injection the sadists. However this website has lots of info on how to turn breech babies. I have kept it since last time incase I am twice blessed with breech babies lol.

Hi everyone, have been quietly lurking here since yesterday - there seems to be an odd gap in my day with the pregnancy thread missing!!

39+1 here and am feeling quite twingy (not sure that is a real word), but not going to hold my breath that anything will happen anytime soon. Have distracted myself so far today by wrapping xmas pressies and writing some cards, although had to go back and redo half of them as realised I had forgotton to add babies name!! How could I forget?? Anyway got round the problem by writing "with love from balijay and family" !

Tink glad you finally got the outcome you were after.. on the home straight now!
