I am on bedrest today, well until school time.

Had a small gush of opaque fluid in the bath and not sure if its waters leaking or just a lot of discharge, just rang my midwife and she didnt seem concerned at all and told me to ring back if i get any pain otherwise it's probably nothing to worry about!

I felt like i was just wasting her time as she didnt want to see me nor seem to care, my 20 week scan is next thursday and my next visit to her is 24 weeks. This is the woman who spells cervix 'servicks' and didnt know what a LLETZ procedure was.
Lauren try not to worry, Bufger's OH had this happen to her at around 20weeks and after a stay in hospital all was deemed fine and 'one of those things'..it could be excess discharge or if you've had 'relations';) in the last few days it could be trapped man juice finding a way out! :D

ETA: Merfe I'm sure the nesting instinct will disappear again soon :) I had that a few weeks ago! Just waiting for it to kick back in so I can get the rest done! lol

  • Morning all!!

Big congratulations Rach on your baby boy xxx

MIL contacted me first thing and said that the plumber had contacted her regarding his daughter. Apparently the spots are most likely to be bites, she went on holiday last week and came back with them. She is not unwell in herself but his wife is taking her to the doctors this afternoon to double check. The girl in question has had all vaccinations and has already had chicken pox so its unlikely that its anything.
Still gonna keep my eye on my DD though.

Woke at 6am with a really bad headache and baby doing lots of kicking and he hasn't stopped for most of the morning.

Bought my first blue things today, popped to Asda to look at the snowsuits and ended up buying one! Also a blue blanket and some bibs, feels more real now somehow!!

Labour vibes to all that need them, hoping to hear of some updates soon xx

Last day of work today and loads to do, so will catch up later (and hope to hear more baby news ;)). If anyone sees my green light on, tell me off as I really need to get on today!

I hadn't even noticed the green / red light before now, let alone thought it meant whether you were on / off MSE!

    Congratulations Rach :j
Gizmodo - those stickers are fab, I will have to look for something similar when we do ours :)

So glad it's Friday, not slept much all week and have been having crazy dreams the whole time :o Am actually starting to get a bump (which is differentiated from the belly I had before), which I'm loving apart from it's a real struggle to find anything I can wear. Friend has promised me a load of maternity clothes so must pick those up very soon :j:j

congratulations Rach, Hope you're feeling ok, I was feeling very woozy the day of my GA, I remember bits and bobs, The midwives helped me to breastfeed.
  • Congrats to Rach and welcome to the world baby boy! :T

Hope everything is going well with MS12

I'm on an 8 day countdown until due date. MW hinted I may be in for an earlier suprise yesterday as have been woken up crippled in pain the last few nights which she thinks are early labour symptoms. I've never been so excited to be in so much pain! :D

Hope you are all okay x

Bit of a silly question but can the 16 week appt be around 16 weeks instead of dead on? I've just booked mine for when I'll be 15+6.
