Disaster.
I've been working on an Excel spreadsheet all day for the MD. Printed it off and went for the meeting. Now I can't find the file and need to make amendments.
Tried searching for filename and by modified date.
Appreciate any help, thanks.

Was this an attachment sent to you in email which you clicked on and modified, as opposed to a file on the hard disk or network?Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

No not from an email. I definitely saved it as I made a copy of a file I did on Friday and put todays sate on the end of the title.0 -
In Excel have a look under "File" and see if it's listed in the most recent open items area, failing that try a search for ~$*.* under DOS and see if you can find it as a temp file.553780080

Presumably, you've done the obvious, by re-opening EXCEL, clciking on <File>, then choosing the first file listed at the bottom of the pull-down menu?0

Did you save it on the c: drive or network?Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
